Time To Till...

the soil...for the garden for a good return...

AND
Time to till the "soil" of our hearts
for an abundant return ...

Till out:
...all that keeps you from growing in Christ Jesus...
...strong holds that bind you up...
...weeds that choke out the good seeds...
...attitudes that cause you to stumble and fall

Till in:
...the Word of God which will cause tremendous growth in your life: spiritual, emtional, physical, & mental...
...these attitudes: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, sel-control

Getting the soil ready for planting the garden - the tilling, picking out rocks and creating the bed to welcome the seed. Not easy work. Not fun work. Yet, once the seed was placed, joy came quickly with each sprout and eventual harvest.

“Then he told them many things in parables, saying: ‘A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. He who has ears, let him hear.’” (Matthew 13:3-9)
