Abbie spent a full week with us. She is only 2 1/2 years old and did great, but I think by Saturday night she was homesick! She had not cried for her mom and dad all week until Saturday at bed time and thankfully the next day we were taking her to Kansas City to meet her dad.
After meeting up with her dad in KC, we had lunch and made the exchange of car seat, suitcase, blanket, pillow, etc. As we were leaving, Abbie said, "Go to Neenee's house"! Of course that made me smile:)
Todd told us when they got home to Iowa, Abbie wanted to go back to Neenee & Granddad's house! We are so thankful that our grandchildren luv to come to our house and spend some time with us.
